Note in image #2 the hundreds of large birds flying around in the right side of the image near a very large landfill mound.  These are hawks and buzzards that float back and forth, sometimes directly over the model field and it becomes very interesting when RC pilots have to fly their models directly through this cloud of large birds.  Over six years of active RC flying at this model field has produced only one known model/bird strike when an electric model and a buzzard collided and both survived.  Otherwise, the birds
apparently have no problem avoiding even fast fuel powered models.  So, the rule is just fly like the birds are apparitions! Grin Grin Grin
