Hello. I am new to this hobby. I flew cox airplanes (with the string..?  lol  ) when i was a child(30 yrs. ago), and I am trying to get back into it. I have a Kadet Senior with an O.S. .46 engine. It has been broken in and I belive it is ready to fly (or in my case...crash. Grin).
I live in Jamestown and I was wondering if there is anyone here from the Flying Aces that would consider flying this plane for me.Huh..Someone A.M.A. certified would be apprieciated. I really do not know of the ettiquete and I am not sure if it is rude to approach someone in this manner from your club to fly my plane, so I apologize if I seem rude.
 My contact information is:
  Bill Gardner  gardnerdigital@yahoo.com

Thank you very much in advance, and I hope to hear from someone soon.
I see that the last posts on this site are from 2006...hopefully someone from the F.A. will respond!??!

Note in image #2 the hundreds of large birds flying around in the right side of the image near a very large landfill mound.  These are hawks and buzzards that float back and forth, sometimes directly over the model field and it becomes very interesting when RC pilots have to fly their models directly through this cloud of large birds.  Over six years of active RC flying at this model field has produced only one known model/bird strike when an electric model and a buzzard collided and both survived.  Otherwise, the birds
apparently have no problem avoiding even fast fuel powered models.  So, the rule is just fly like the birds are apparitions! Grin Grin Grin

Designed and built by Jim Messer of Sebring, Fl.  Formerly of Olean, NY and vintage Olean STARS club member.  Plans will be sold by Reid's Quality Model Products of Phelps, NY. The wingspan is 14.5 ft. and powered by a DA twin engine with a 26 in. prop.  These images were taken of the maiden flight in early 2008.

A twin electric scratch built and flown in Sebring, Fl. at the Highlands RC Club by a 80 year old modeler named Mickey.  It flies as great as it looks!
